04 Mar San Telmo and Centro
San Pedro Gonzalez Telmo is the patron saint of sailors. The church is near Plaza Dorrego
San Telmo is an ancient barrio, home to narrow cobblestone streets, ornate and decaying mansions, and enough trendy boutiques for even the most dedicated of shoppers. It was also our home base – we rented a house at cinco-ocho-uno Cochabamba.
Centro (a.k.a San Nicolás) is the crazy-busy business district. Small sidewalks, lots and lots of people, and amazing architecture at every turn.
