26 Jan M4D Haiku Deck

I’ve been playing around with a PowerPoint alternative called Haiku Deck. It’s a great platform, although not ideal for text-heavy academic presentations so I’ve had to do a bit of offline tweaking here and there… but it does create beautiful presentations.

I’m hoping the developers build a little more flexibility into future releases. It would be nice to be able to pair a multi-line quote with an image, for example. Here’s a deck I recently created for my Communication & Social Change course on Mobile for Development, or M4D, a growing area of ICT and advocacy/development.
