Strategy. Data. Social Good.

Andi Argast

I’m a strategist, writer, and facilitator working in the intersection of digital technology and the social good sector. My research and work focuses on digital advocacy, community engagement, open data, media literacy, and inclusive information policy.

I’ve recently started as a policy advisor in government. Before this, I managed a digital literacy program for the social good sector at a small Toronto-based nonprofit organization. LinkedIn has all my work-related details if you’re curious. I’m also one-half of the ODI Toronto Node, where I co-facilitate workshops on open data. My background is in information science and communications, and I have a Master of Information from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Journalism from Carleton University.

When I’m not communing with my laptop, I can be found gardening, exploring new places, and continuing the search for the perfect cappuccino.
